Bottom mattress without adjustment

To be fully effective, the sensitively responsive top mattress requires a sturdy, elastic base suspension. The effect of the spring bottom mattress in the SCHRAMM double-mattress system is completely different to that of a conventional slatted-frame design. In its own system, the slatted frame must fulfil the actual adaptation function.

In the case of the exclusive SCHRAMM double-mattress system (box spring), however, this task is taken over by the pocket spring core mattress in the immediate vicinity. With the choice of design or formulation, the SCHRAMM top mattress is adapted precisely to the body weight of the sleeper. Regardless of design, the efficiency of the base suspension of the bottom mattress is always the same. The bottom mattress makes a significant contribution to the overall comfort of the SCHRAMM sleeping system. Compared to a mattress, however, it has an entirely different function to fulfil. In the absence of either of the two components, a box spring bed would not have nearly as much comfort.

S.C.A. - The patented Secondary Contour Adaptation is the “tailor-made suit” when it comes to sleeping. According to the individual body shape, the base mattress may be lifted or lowered independently and stage-lessly up to 2cm within the shoulder and pelvis areas. This perceptible optimization always allows a subsequent adjustment to the desired resting position.

The SCHRAMM base mattresses are available without adjustment option, in five manually adjustable and in ten motorised adjustable versions. Over 20 sizes are offered as standard, plus special sizes on request. Always combine a SCHRAMM top mattress with a SCHRAMM base mattress. Only then the functions, the bed climate and the longevity are optimally guaranteed.
