The triple system GRAND CRU for which a European patent has already been issued is based on the handmade base mattress DIVAN. Manually braced and tied with hourglass springs in best upholstery tradition. The simply ingenious dynamics of the base’s springs activate the sensitive interaction with the differentiated spring tensions of the intermediate mattress SILHOUETTE. This intermediate mattress supports the top mattress GRAND CRU N°1, and enhances its even closer adaption to the sleeper’s body shape.
Patented Shoulder Cavity
With our patented shoulder cavity system your situation will be relieved completely. The spring tension in the shoulder area determines a relaxed sleeping position while resting on the side. The shoulder must be allowed to sink in without “drowning”, therefore this area requires reduced spring tensions and the deliberately selected resilience of the ticking while providing gentle support at the same time. SCHRAMM adjusts the formula to the sleeper’s weight and habits, thereby allowing for a boundless sense of well-being. Please note an additional refinement: there are no longitudinal stichings, especially in the shoulder area, in order not to jeopardize pure indulgence.
Patented Secondary Contour Adaptation (S.C.A.)

independently and stagelessly up to 2cm within the shoulder and pelvis areas. By this perceptible optimization which may be compared to the adjusting options of a comfort seat in a car the S.C.A. technology creates the “tailor-made suit” when it comes to sleeping. Even after having made your decision to buy a certain type of mattress, it still allows for a subsequent adjustment to the desired resting position – for as long as you will use your mattress. In combination with the correct spring tension formula of the top mattress, this ever-modifiable fine-tuning defines the ideal resting position for unlimited sleep comfort.

A bit of that is absorbed by sleepwear and bedding – but the far more important role played during the removal of moisture is the aeration and ventilation of the mattress. One glance at the inside of the dual mattress system shows how SCHRAMM solves that problem, thanks to the highest level of competence and craftsmanship: to create an optimal sleep environment, the padding materials are connected to each other via an elaborate tacking system (the SCHRAMM Blind Tacking System), and not – as it is customary – glued to each other airtight. The air can circulate freely through both mattresses in all directions – moisture is immediately released and evaporates. Because a good night‘s sleep requires air – and passionate attention to detail. The horizontal and vertical air exchange offers optimal sleep climate. The interplay of the fully breathable padding materials – of the air cushion of the box spring and the mattress – along with body movements during sleep has the effect of creating a selfreinflating air cushion. Air can circulate continuously in all directions, thereby removing moisture.
